Chantilly - SS'11

I've always been a fan of Elie Saab's designs. The intricate beading and attention to detail is simply outstanding coupled with a simple silhouette. This couture designer somehow has the flare for giving bead and lace a modern look. When you wear an Elie Saab gown you will look elegantly gorgeous without being overpowered by the dress.

I was inspired by the Elie Saab SS'11 Paris Fashion Week show to create Chantilly. A delicate and intricate design with muted earthy crystals colors and pearls was the theme for this collection.

Here, I'm featuring a collage of the most popular pieces of the collection.

Ay Barcelona!

Have you even experienced Barcelona at the end of summer?

It's still warm and the afternoons are still long. The locals have the afternoon siestas and the whole town is laid back. But as dusk breaks, the city livens up almost in an instant. Folks come out for dinner and drinks and they stay out till the wee hours in the morning. The street cafes are filled with people and music spills out into the streets. That's the life.

Here is a collection with pieces that takes you from day to night effortlessly. Go from work to dinner date ready without a hassle.
